I recall back in the 90s in the crewroom having copies of the Defence Recognition Journal floating around. When I got really bored I even looked at it...

In the Netherlands they had the magazine called ''Herkenning'' (recognition). It was published by the MoD and was available in magazine- bookshops. There was always a puzzle in it of foreign equipment. The winner got a small amount of money.
