Interesting photo. Internal troops, soldiers in working cotton letters. On the shoulders there are colored shoulder straps with the letters "BB". This is the first time I've seen anything like this.
Political engagement in the field. Perhaps this is a staged photo. I love the Soviet army, but in this photo I remember Yaroslav Hasek and laugh a lot. I think you remember Feldgurat Otto Katz and the portable iconostasis, which was almost sold along with the sofa.
Such a photo has recently appeared. Approximately 1969. The officer is still in the old uniform, when the soldiers are already in new caps and new tunics with colored buttonholes. And on one of the soldiers... a 1925 summer camouflage gown! Surprisingly, the presence of such a robe in the border troops 40 years after the end of its production.

Аctually, kinda regular thing.I have seen some pictures of soviet soldiers using ww2 uniform in afghanistan,so nothing special.Еspecially if it is some kind of remote Central Asian military district
Comedians were everywhere. There is wisdom in our country. If you meet an old acquaintance and ask him what interesting things happened in 5 years, he will think for 15 minutes. If you ask him how he served in the army, you will communicate for hours.
Unfortunately, Russian soldier's humor is very specific, based on the anomalies of the Russian language and therefore incomprehensible to foreigners. Usually, when I show my foreign friends our comedies about the army, they shake their heads and perceive these films as psychological thrillers about how the army breaks the human psyche, ahahahah.
It's just that when a crowd of 18-25 year olds are locked in one place, they quickly start doing some nonsense. And very often this nonsense turns out to be funny (thanks to YouTube). The reaction of the commanders turns out to be no less funny - a good officer knows how to convey any information in a very funny and intelligible way (always with obscene language).
