In continuation of its ongoing Overseas Deployment Indian Coast Guard ships Vaibhav and Abhiraj engaged with SLCG in a Table Top exercise on Marine Pollution Response which concluded with a pollution response demonstration at Colombo harbour. Further, ICG ships and three SLCG ships participated in first ever Joint exercise SAGEREX covering marine pollution response, cross-border Ops, maritime law enforcement, firefighting & damage control, concluding the maiden exercise with a joint steam past. Ships will enter Galle Sri Lanka on 29 Dec 24 for final leg of their Overseas Deployment.
