Just to clarify: Serbian (and, generally, ex-Yugoslav) MPs, along with regular duties the job entails, are the primary counter-guerrilla force of the Army. That is why they get to be woken up at three AM, only to skulk in various types of terrain, practicing finding and eliminating disgruntled citizens and killing them.
