The Russian Federation will provide Serbia with two transport turboprop aircraft An-26. Their user will be Air Force and Air Defense of Serbia.

The head of the Serbian Defense Ministry, speaking about the future, their Air Force added that the ongoing modernization of the fleet of 10 MiG-29 fighters is aimed at adapting them to the common MiG-29SD standard (Serbianski Dorabotany). Serbian minister also informed that soon five Serbian pilots will be sent to Russia to train there on the MiG-29 aircraft
