Footage of the launch of the Russian kamikaze drone "Lancet" has been published. There is very little information on the drone, the manufacturer ZALA AERO provides only a minimum of data. Loitering ammunition "Lancet" is available in 3 types. A reduced version of the Lancet-1 drone, the warhead of the drone is high-explosive fragmentation weighing 1 kg, the flight time is 30 minutes at a distance of up to 40 km at a speed of up to 110 km/h, the take-off weight of the drone is 5 kg. The second version is the Lancet-3 drone, it is larger and heavier, the take-off weight of the drone has increased to 12 kg. The warhead of the drone is supplemented with a variant with a shaped charge weighing up to 3 kg. The flight time, depending on the load, already reaches 60 minutes, at a distance of up to 70 km, at a peak speed of up to 300 km / h. The third version of the loitering ammunition, the Lancet-3M drone, an upgraded version that received an X-shaped wing and small X-shaped plumage in the tail. There is no data on this model, as well as on the Lancet-5 and Lancet-10 drones of which information sometimes appears. It is not clear whether the Lancet-3M will replace the Lancet-3 version, or whether they will be released in parallel, one thing is for sure, the drone is constantly being improved. All drone models have an electric motor, and the drone itself is made of plastic and composite materials, which makes it difficult for air defense systems to detect it. The operating altitude of the drone is from 50-500 meters, in practice, as it turned out, it can fly below 50 meters. Drone "Lancet" contains three types of interchangeable guidance systems - coordinate, optoelectronic and combined, there is also a television communication channel that allows the operator to visually aim the drone at the target. The UAV can be equipped with a laser target designator, a target search sensor, a gas analyzer and a radiometer. The drone can operate in the “aerial mining” mode, which means patrolling the airspace and destroying other UAVs; there are no shots of its operation in this mode yet. You can see a lot of shots of the combat work of the drone "Lancet" on our channel and also by the link in the comments to the video.

The footage of the work of the new Russian Serb-VS 5 anti-drone complex has been published, this complex is an improved version of the Serp-VS complex. The Serp-VS5 complex is designed for a range of up to 5 kilometers. The complex operates in five frequency bands - from 900 MHz to 5.8 GHz. This allows you to use it not only against civilians, but also against special aircraft. The system suppresses GPS, GLONASS, Beidou signals, and also breaks drone control over Wi-Fi. The complex "sees" UAV-violators in the sector of 360 degrees along the horizontal axis. A feature of the complex is the function of dividing the viewing angle into sectors, which allows you to use your UAVs while the complex is working on intruder drones. The Serp-VS anti-drone complex works well on "complex" objects with a complex perimeter of the protected area.

Test footage of the prototype of the Russian kamikaze drone "Privet-82" has been published. The kamikaze UAV was developed by the novice Oko design bureau. The main project of the bureau is now the ultra-cheap Privet-82 UAV, within the framework of this project, the concept of using the Podkhvat drones has been developed. Let's explain in a simple way, soldiers on the front line do not always have drones, and it’s impossible to carry a lot of them, so drone launch pads are located in the rear at a distance of about 20 km, which serve several units on the front line. If a soldier on the front line notices an enemy, a drone is called from the rear, which flies to the front line in radio silence. On approaching the front line, the drone control is picked up by the operator, video transmission is turned on and the operator directs the drone to the target. The advantages of this solution are that soldiers do not need to carry a lot of UAVs and catapults with them to launch them, drones are used where they are needed in unlimited quantities. Drones will be controlled through repeaters, thanks to which the drone can fly very low above the ground and is difficult to intercept. The flight range of the current kamikaze UAV prototype has already reached 30 kilometers, while the payload is from 3 to 4 kilograms, and 5.5 kilograms are already being tested. The Bureau is also developing the "Privet 120" UAV with a payload of 20 kilograms. Small-scale production of the Privet-82 UAV has already been launched, 33 drones have been produced, but the designers need funding.

In Russia, the Central Design Bureau for Special Radio Materials has created a stealth material for the invisibility of aircraft. The new material absorbs up to 95% of the incident electromagnetic radiation of radars and significantly complicates the detection of an air object using radar equipment. In the process of creating a radio-absorbing material, several layers of fiberglass were interconnected. It is based on thin threads with a metal core in glass insulation. There are similar materials in the world now, but the existing types of aircraft stealth coatings require regular maintenance and restoration, which increases the cost of operating aircraft.
