The Polish Air Force F-16 fighters landed on Keflavik Air Base at Iceland yesterday for their first deployment in the high North. They are already planning to do a Familiarization Flight this week.

The detachment will conduct Icelandic Air Surveillance, provide intercept capabilities and participate in training activities to maintain skills and proficiency.

Was this vehicle developed in cooperation with Germany ? it looks a bit like a 2x2 version of the Fuchs.

No, it is a vehicle entirely developed in Poland, at AMZ Kutno plants. And when I wrote about the camouflage pattern, I rather meant that the spots resemble penises.

Yeah, I got your meaning I'm saying the colour pattern, as in choice of colours, is legit though.

For now, these are flights to learn about the terrain, the location of airports and the specificity of climatic conditions. Air Policing service will begin soon.
