I agree. It would have been a nice, quick solution and a major upgrade to the navy.
It seems that they wanted to build new ships in Poland to keep the shipyards afloat? Apparently, they are moving rather quickly to procure 3 vessels, though whether they will have extensive or limited capabilities remains to be seen.

I'm afraid they may be deceiving voters. The only advantage of the current wretched state of the Navy is that they will be forced to take any action.

Dynamic demonstration of the Remote Controlled Tower System (ZSSW-30) integrated with the Rosomak armored personnel carrier.

It is currently one of the most important and technically advanced projects developed by the Polish defense industry. At the end of 2020, the system underwent key tests, during which the fire capabilities of the system with the 30 mm ATK Mk 44 Bushmaster II autocannon and Polish observation and sighting devices, as well as the Rafael Spike LR dual anti-tank guided missile launcher were tested.
