The next stage of the marine trials of the ORP "Ślązak" ended, among others, the helicopter was taken on board. Helicopters that took part in the rehearsals were W-3RM "Anakonda" (a marine variant of the "Sokół" helicopter) and SH-2G "Seasprite" from the 43rd Naval Aviation Base.

Poland took over 4 Kaman helicopters with 2 frigates Oliver Hazard Perry class - 2 helicopters in 2000 and 2 helicopters in 2002

Nice looking ships, I always liked the Perrys. I was hoping that they would go for the Adelaides, but that ship has sailed (to turn a phrase).

I lost track, was the Pulaski overhaul completed? I think the Kosciuszko was not to be overhauled.

ORP Kościuszko has undergone a partial renovation which ended in 2016, ORP Pułaski also, but he returned from renovation in 2017.

Due to the fact that both OHP class ships are intended to be used in Polish Navy only up to 2024, Phalanx CIWS have not been upgraded.

Polish contingent in "Spring Storm 19" exercise in Estonia, May 2019.
On behalf of the Polish Navy, in this international exercise, there were separate forces of the Marine Missile Unit (3rd Flotilla of Ships) equipped with NSM rocket launchers and the ORP Gniezno ship from the 8th Coastal Defense Flotilla.
In addition to the marine component in the exercise participated the sub-units of the Polish Armed Forces - separated from the 1st Tactical Aviation Wing, 12th Mechanized Division, 1st Land Forces Aviation Brigade, 9th reconnaissance regiment and 5th engineering regiment.

For @Bombardier, for a good start to the day.
On Thursday, 23 May 2019, at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka, Poland, there were shooting exercises with - slightly untypical for 155 mm self-propelled howitzers KRAB - straight ahead. The exercise was conducted by the 11th "Mazurski" Artillery Regiment.

On May 28, the Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak announced in social media that the ministry sent the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) a detailed inquiry (Letter of Request, LoR) concerning the purchase of 32 multi-purpose aircraft from the 5th generation of Lockheed Martin F- 35A Lightning II. The application applies to machines in the Conventional Take Off and Landing configuration (CTOL).
