On Monday, August 7 this year, the Scramble Magazine industry portal was the first to announce that the delivery of the first of four Leonardo AW101 multi-role maritime helicopters to Poland has begun. The rotorcraft with British registration number ZR288 and serial number 50288 made a stopover in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on its way to Poland.

On Thursday, August 10, 2023, the Armament Agency of the Ministry of National Defense sent an invitation to negotiations with WSK PZL-Świdnik (part of the company Leonardo Helicopters) regarding the acquisition of another 22 heavy multi-role AgustaWestland AW101 helicopters for the Polish Army.

On Thursday, August 10, 2023, the Minister of National Defense announced in Channel 1 of Polish Radio that a total of up to 10,000 soldiers will be deployed in the area of the state border with Belarus. Earlier, the Border Guard and the Ministry of the Interior and Administration applied for an increase in the number of Polish Army forces in the Podlaskie Voivodship from 1,000 to 2,000 and then 3,000.

Because Croatia was invited to participate in the parade, and PzH 2000 are Croatian and are part of Battlegroup Poland.
When I think about how much money we're wasting on this parade...
