Politics Police news / incidents etc

Any lawyers in the house, it’s not self defence, so what is it?
Death by dangerous driving - murder is premeditated - he can claim it was a spur of the moment thing - makes me wonder if they have chosen murder as they know it will be thrown out - murder is where you go out with intent - he had no intent and can claim he only tried to help the woman who was being stabbed - and he used reasonable force

As I said CPS will chuck it out in a year - it is not in the public interest - Police have much more important things to do such as investigating Boris's birthday party:rolleyes:

I hope the family of take Biden and Harris to Court because they are responsible for his death or even better a Texas AG issues warrants for there arrests

"Update from January 31, 10:07 a.m.: As reported by Bild, the two police officers are said to have announced during their radio call that they had stopped a suspicious vehicle. Apparently, they would have discovered dead game in the trunk of the car. As the paper further reports, the officers then gave another radio message, "They're shooting at us!" After that, there was radio silence."

So let me get this right, that piece of filth killed two young cops over a what was going to be a minor offence? A fine, perhaps?
Why, oh why do we not have capital punishment in this country. Look at this case and tell me that arsehole didn't forfeit his right to life.

May the slain officers rest in peace.

It’s an absolute weird case.

Two possible years in prison for that, maybe less assuming he would just handed over the rifles, not resisted his arrest and complied.

How someone whose wife was a baker of all things and him a poacher in a little German town gets pulled over, and gun down two cops? RIP to the officers.

Not tin foil hat stupidity here, just can’t fathom one can go as far over such a minor offense as stated above.

From what I can tell after browsing the local news, the guy had always been an insufferable prick to anyone but his family. Customers and former co-workers describe him as such and say in interviews it came as a surprise to no one that his bakery went bankrupt since he'd gone to lengths to put off any potential customers. An outcome he blamed on anyone but himself, of course. It seems as if he turned to poaching to pay the bills.

That's the face of narcissism, right there. Only a completely selfish person would do what he's done.

And as was predictable, we have another debate about gun control on our hands. By the way, the death of those two cops is being celebrated in Telegram groups of the Querdenker movement, an umbrella term for anti-vaxxers and right-wing activists who oppose mask mandates and the like. "Two mercenaries less we have to worry about" was one of the nicer things said about them.

This kind of stuff makes the news because it's the side that the media opposes and not their own little darlings. Left wing radicals hate the police just as much if not more. Whenever you see "ACAB" or "1312" spraypainted somewhere it wasn't done by some right winger that is in favour of harsher sentencing or higher security spending ;)

Oh, there's been much of that as well. I've been schooling left-wingers on Reddit this entire morning that if words are tantamount to violence, then A.C.A.B. is surely just as bad as any right-wing anti-police slur. Having said that – and you know me not to be a friend of the left –, the extreme right is objectively the bigger threat right now. Over the past few months there's been a spade of violent outbursts against cops and health workers clearly associated with the Querdenker movement, and activists committed at least four politically motivated murders.
