Battleship Strasbourg under attack by bombers in Aug 1944

Alongside Strasbourg is the cruiser La Galissonnière, and moored aft is the seaplane tender Commandant Teste.

Commandant Teste was at Mers el-Kébir during the British attack, where she was unharmed. She later sailed back to Toulon, where it was scuttled along the rest of the fleet. Refloated by the Italians and towed to Saint Mandrier, it was again sunk by American bombs. Re-refloated postwar, it was turned into a floating depot before being finally scrapped.
