On May 14-16, 2018, the competition for the best radio module took place. During the competition, 12 radiocommunication modules were programmed under tactical conditions, messages were encoded and sent, antennas for radio communication from available materials were made. Soldier skills were also assessed: shooting, first aid, survival, using orientation skills.

Manufacturer of Vilkas Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV), ARTEC, is putting two prototypes of IFVS bought by Lithuania, to intense testing at the German military training areas. Both prototypes have been made according to requirements of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, have Israeli-made turrets, 30 mm rapid-fire cannons and Spike LR anti-tank missiles.

The Ministry of Defense of Lithuania announced the delivery of a batch of 400 M14 semi-automatic rifles at the beginning of April for Krašto Apsaugos Savanorių Pajėgos (KASP, Volunteer Defense Forces). Optical sights and bipods were installed for rifles from the US army's magazines.
M14 rifles are already used in the Lithuanian Armed Forces by the representative troops, and in the M14 L1 version by sharpshooters. A small number of them are once again being modernized.
