The Lithuanian Helicopter conducted deck landing exercises succesfully on flagship FGS Werra last week, showcasing precision in confined maritime spaces. The helicopter crew performed personnel winching operations, demonstrating their ability to rapidly deploy or extract individuals in high-risk scenarios.
These exercises are vital for ensuring cooperation between allied forces during joint missions. Training in such real-world conditions improves response times, coordination, and readiness for rescue or combat operations at sea.

On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense announced that the seventh batch of Oshkosh JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle)/L-ATV (Light Combat Tactical All-Terrain Vehicle) multi-role armored vehicles, consisting of 50 units, has arrived in the country. These join more than 385 previously received out of a total of 500 ordered in the United States. Thus, it will be the largest export user of these vehicles in the world.
