On the occasion of the transfer of the first "Patria" 6x6 armored vehicles of Latvian production to the National Armed Forces of Latvia, a solemn ceremony was held on August 5, 2024 at the "Adazi" military base with the participation of the Minister of Defense Andris Spruds, the President of the Defense Partnership Council of Latvia and the commander of the National Guard 3rd Latgale Brigade, Col. Gunars Vizulis.
The photos in posts above come from a 50-kilometer march combined with overcoming obstacles. Completing the march gives new soldiers the right to wear the unit's beret.
