Well... "Borodinsky". Still haven't been able to get my hands on bird-cherry flour.

Borodinsky bread: dark, solemn and intensely sour, the famous Russian rye sourdough, not to be confused with Russian black bread. I wonder why there are no Russian fluffy white buns?​

They do, with white flour and half milk-half water.

It tends to go a bit on the brioche/milk rolls side.

7up plus syrup? That's definitely on the sweet side, but thinking how this is gonna caramelise on the grill, I can see where you're coming from.

Will try the 7 up marinade on spare ribs sounds good with thai green paste (still have one jar in the fridge) I mostly make them with a marinade made out of veg. oil, brown sugar, paprika powder, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and a bit of German curry powder (the mixed spices we put on top of the Currywurst ?)
