Had lunch yesterday at our favourite "Wirtschaft"

Should have taken more pics as we had roasted duck, Schweinebraten, Schnitzel and Kasspatzen.

For dessert we shared a pan of Kaiserschmarrn w. apple sauce:

Big old batch of fish curry for the freezer - had picked up a load of cod loin on sale (Close to its use-by date) so chopped that up for it.

When I was in the US a couple of months ago, I had a Burger King chicken sandwich, and in line with the Chicken Sandwich wars there, I decided to compare the chicken sandwiches over here in the Philippine. On serving size and taste so far here goes:

Burger King, Spicy Chicken Sandwich:
Size: 8/10 (it was the biggest serving size, which count againt it at 750 calories it was just too much)
Taste: 8/10

McDonalds (still US)
Size: 7/10
Taste: 5/10 nothing to write home about

Popeyes US Chicken Sandwich (Philippines)
Size: 5/10
Taste: 5/10 not sure if its really the same as the US

8cuts burgers (Philippines)
Size: 9/10 the serving size is ok, can be a lil bit bigger but overall cant complain
Taste: 9/10 solid 9 out of 10, maybe even a 10 out of 10 but I'll hold that 10 till Ive tasted the others

FowlBread OG Chicken Burger (Philippines)
Size: 8/10
Taste: 9/10 solid tasting Chicken burger worth a repeat purchase and is rated the best in Manila, but I just preferred the 8 cuts. Just not a fan of the additional heart attack aka chicken skin on top of the patty

After I tried a few more, Ill do a side by side comparo with the top two. Hope you guys enjoy

Looks great @Junglejim. I have a serious weakness for fried chicken and chicken sandwiches. You ever sample Taiwanese fried chicken during your travels? Got one in walking distance I can’t stop visiting. Bit on the salty side but very good.

I just had a handful of peanut M&Ms. High roller.

Thanks for the lead, man. I havent tried Taiwanese fried chicken, but luckily for me there is a Tawanese Fried Chicken Fast food branch here in Manila named Hot Star. I shall explore it and add it to the review. Makes it interesting now.

Weird right, Taiwan is very close, but I have never been in that country, though I just over fly it on my way to South Korea or Japan.
