The Douglas F-4J Phantom II was a carrier-capable, twin-engine supersonic fighter used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps starting in 1966. An advanced version of the original F-4, the F-4J featured upgraded engines, pulse-Doppler radar, and enhanced avionics for better performance in air-to-air combat and ground attack missions.
