Photos F-4 Phantom II Paradise

This was the final pharewell event prepared by the German Air Force for the retirement of the F-4 phantom from German Air Force service This particular aircraft was one of the few dozen aircraft that were still airworthy and operational at the time.
The German phantoms were retired after 40 years in service with the German Air Force. These aircraft have played a crucial role in the defense of Germany and its air force. For the final pharewell event, the Germans created the F-4F “Heritage Flight”, applying four different liveries to four F-4Fs reflecting each of the decades that the plane was in service.
