Politics Climate Hysteria Debunked Yet Again ....

Meanwhile a new study found that, in hindsight, 10 out of 17 climate models released from 1970 to 2007 were accurate when predicting a trend of global warming. This was calculated by comparing the old forecasts with actual measurements.

Also, since that type of confusion has occured in this thread, too, I'd like to quote the news article just explain the difference between "climate" and "weather":
I could toss a coin and sometime get better odds than that (Y)

No kidding. Look, anyone with a high school education, or if you go to State schools a Master's degree, knows that changing climate is a fundamental and integral part of Earth's history. What's new here are a couple of things. Maybe more. One, the denial that climate change is ongoing, fluid and non-stop and that somehow there is a "normal" Earth temperature and that any deviation from that is catastrophic. And two, that only by immediately reverting back to the Stone Age with it's attendant human suffering, giving the United Nations all of our money and electing leftists politicians can we save the Planet.

I have found these to be the major lines of argument:

1. climate change no happen + *anecdotal story*
2. Human made climate change doesn't exist, climate only changes naturally
3. Human made climate change exists together with natural climate change but is not a big enough threat to warrant action
4. Human made climate change exist (in addition to natural climate), is a large threat and warrants action by individual states
5. Human made climate change is a huge disaster and we need a worldwide action plan
6. Human made climate change is a huge disaster, world will blow up tomorrow, capitalism has come to it's end and we need worldwide mandatory action plan coupled with laws that limit choices of individuals and bans meat, patriarchy and Nazis

EDIT: There is also the argument between 3 and 4 that: climate change is a problem but the state should not interfere with individuals in any shape or form; individual choice will win the day.

Although a meme, it is curious how she and many like her who are "raising awareness" get way more publicity than those actually doing something tangible to make the planet a cleaner place.

Oh was reading an article today and some woman walked past an extinction rebellion stall to go to the shops. When she came back a bit later the stall was still there and all the people had gone. She asked where they had gone?
"it was a bit cold - so they all went home to get warm"
