this book is awsome. i have read it twice and am reading it again it is so good you won't want to put it down till your done with it.

absolutely i learned alot more about what happend reading the book than i did watching the movie, but i still like the movie too.

Anything by Gerry Bruckheimer is bound to be flashy! The book is very good but I first came across the story on the net The Philly Inquirer I think it was.
As a lot if not all the battle was filmed by the helos (and you can see bits on the Inquirer site as well as listen to the comms) I would have thought that, operational requirements aside, a bit more of that should be released to give an edited warts and all show of exactly what happened on the ground and air as opposed to Hollywood.
The cast was strange though I thought; a lot of Brits with American accents!
