Photos Armenia v Azerbaijan

Yes thats more or less the conclusion the article I posted comes to. Sit it out until better times. Or the misaligned country leaves by itself e.g. a Communist takeover.

What did the Armenians gain from this? It saved some soldiers lives, but Stepanakert and surrounding area is dead anyways and they conceded a corridor for the Azeri to Nakhichevan which is a bad as it gets.

Can't see many or if any of the Armenians returning even to the area secured by the Russians. If anyone returns, what is the future there? That place is devastated beyond repair and nothing can be exported or imported.

Unfortunately our leaders missed a chance after the Turkish coup in 2016 when the Turkish military was crippled, to launch a first strike and send the Turks to the Altay mountains in Mongolia where they came from in the first place.
That’s what al-Tikriti hoped for before he decided to attack Iran.
I’m just curious about how you would have going to achieve it. By bombing Turkish airbases by surprise and destroying a good portion of their airforce? What next? Starting a land offensive in a mountainous terrain, while having at least four times smaller army?
Needless to say, such two things would have generated a lot of problems for you, both in the UN and the NATO.
Like it or not, but the sultan is and was a popular politician in Turkey. A good proportion of the soldiers who didn’t support him, would have fought an external threat, so it would not have been an 1-week campaign for the Greeks. Greece would not have been able to win a war of attrition against Turkey, exactly as Iraq was unable to win the war with Iran due to economies’ and the population’s disparities.

Don’t turn this topic into your personal anti-Turkish sh1tshow.

My Goodness, you comparing us with Iraqis :)

I agree on the non personal Greek Turkish show, although we live in a troubled neighborhood and issues are intersecting.

Turkish commando knife found by Armenian forces near Martuni on a dead officer. These are normally used by Turkish commandos but likely passed down to Azeri special forces who trained in Turkey.
War Gonzo

(Looks like the standard HALMAK komando knife )

ATTN: Graphic images.

Armenian troopers dump their killed comrades in trenchs.

I think they wished to hide casualties. Sad views indeed.

There are rumors that Nikol Pashinyan is gathering groups of armed people at his government residence.

In the photo taken tonight, members of the pro-government group "Defenders of the Revolution", who, posing as volunteers of the Karabakh war, recently voiced a number of threats against Pashinyan's opponents.

There is no government that can survive this capitulation. The only concern should be some outsider to intervene now before it's too late.

(Simultaneously with visiting and taking a souvenir photo of Aliyev and his wife from the Khodaafarin Bridge, they were photographed from inside Iran, with a Draganov gun camera!)

A Greek dreaming of invasion of Anatholia again at 2016 coup attempt (for me is erdogans theater) but he forget even peasant army of Kemal Atatürk defeat them with poorly equipment. & Turkish population was only 14 milion then.. Now with 30 bilion GDP which 48% came from tourism they want wanna invade 84 million populated well defended country ?..

It requires great blood to invade anatholia?
Do you have such a lot of blood in your veins?
The blood of the Turk flows like lava of volcano!
Eastern Rome in history is a sweet dream,
But the new Rome you dream to built is a empty dream...
Don't be such a sneaky jackal or a viper!
You have to fight like a gray wolf, like an eagle!
Do not think Kılıç Arslan is dead, he lives in us!
We have Atilla's fire in our hearts
70 thousand soldiers of Thrace are at the border
Şükrü Pasha is waiting in Edirne for order!
Of course you know the thing called Dumlupınar!
This eternal homeland is an impenetrable rock that has martyrs with fifty million guards!
Visit Turkey before Turkey visits you??

OK ladies and gentlemen, I've about had enough of the tat-for-tat responses by some of our members in this thread.

The thread is about the Armenia/Azerbaijan conflict.

While I detest deleting posts I am going to do so over the last 2 pages in an effort to get this thread back on track.

Further hijacking of the thread will see it locked, which will be a first for our site
