OSS militia unit in the China/India/Burma theatre. No doubt similar to Merrill's Marauders, Wingate's Raiders and the Kachin Raiders.

As @digrar has said, part of a militia run by OSS in the Burma/India/China theatre, I have been unable to find anything on the US Gorkha Rangers in particular but there is info on the US Kachin Rangers run by OSS which mentions "other" national Ranger groups
