Tunisia aim to rebuild its transportation fleet since only 1 of 9 C130H remained operational, in 2014 the country received 2 C130J-30J and this year the air force signed a maintenance and upgrade deal with the Emirati EDGE to upgrade C130 fleet.

Algeria has acquired a 120mm Chinese self-propelled mortar, according to information shared on twitter.

The new Chinese 120-mm mortar, manufactured by Chengdu Lingchuan Special Industry, is mounted on a Nimr 6x6 produced locally under a license from UAE

The machine is reportedly equipped with an inertial navigation system and a battlefield control system. The process of aiming by calculating the coordinates of the target, which will be hit by mortar fire, according to the developers, takes 30 seconds.

Well, at least there's been no bloodshed. (For the time being.) Also seems like significant parts of the population are actually celebrating the take-over.

Sources have confirmed the order of half a dozen CH-5 Rainbow combat drones from CASC (China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation). The aircraft will join the CH-3 and 4 already in service. The lot will be fully delivered in 2022 from March.

This drone, larger and heavier than the CH-4, displays quite similar performance to the American MQ9 Predator. It can fly 60 hours in a row or 10,000 km without landing while carrying 1 ton of payload (up to 16 anti-tank missiles of the AR-1 and 2 or HJ-12 type. All at an altitude of 9 km. One of the advantages of the CH-5 is to work in tandem with the CH-4 and CH-3 on attack or intelligence gathering missions.

Algeria has also ordered the WingLoong 2, which will bring the number of air force attack drones to around sixty by the end of 2022.
