10 years ago I'd have loved to be down there with them exploring. Now that I have 6 little mouths to feed & depend on me not to do dangerous things that cheat death. Condolences to their families, friends :& Troop.

Ocean Gate was an accident waiting to happen the ego of the owner was immense,
how a so called experimental submersible was able to take paying passengers coded as "mission specialists"
revels the murkiness of this business, sadly people have to die before any attempt at change is made.

I've read that the OceanGate Titan implosion was quick & allegedly painless but I've also read that lights were cut to conserve batteries & the only light was a pale glow from a laptop screen. What I'm wondering is were there any cracks & pops that weren't normal before the final one to give the passengers a moment to realize death was imminent with a chance to get right with God? I've had a few close calls in my short life & I always say a quick prayer with my God to atone for my sins & ask him to keep my family & troop safe.

Ran across the Titan text mssgs, not sure if it's legit or not but the Titan crew apparently knew there was a problem & were trying to surface. So they had a few minutes of total ass puckering fear to make their peace with God before their lives ended with a small scrid of hope of making the surface. At least they were all together. I usually have the same feeling when soldiers die in battle, if their buddy goes as well then they are not alone on their final journey. Our mental health team is pretty sure that's a f'd up way of looking at death.

I not calling BS yet but I'm sceptical that the descent went from the surface to over 11000 feet depth in 2 hours. 🤔

I think for that submersible a normal decent time was around 4 hrs. Maybe descending at that quicker rate shocked the hull? Also read that it was an 8 hr trip down & up. They carried weights to make the descent, sight see, drop the weights & then surface. Whole thing is a real dog's breakfast.
