Mussolini was constantly threatening Turkey for an attack on these islands and he had built a military pile up here. These islands belonged to Italy between 1910 ~ 40

Balkan countries established the Balkan Pact/Entente because of these Mussolini threats. Turkey also established Saadabad Pact with eastern neighbours.

A few pictures from the Turkish Navy's new and largest drill ever, DENİZKURDU-2021 (Sea Wolf-2021) has started. Along with Navy; Coast Guard, Land Forces, Gendarmerie and Air Force elements will participate, in total, 132 ships, 10 submarines, 43 aircrafts, 28 helicopters, 14 UAV's and approximately 25.500 personnel will participate the exercise. DENİZKURDU-2021 will be held between 25 May 2021 to 6 June 2021, in the Aegean and the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

If anyone wondered about Grenade launcher it's BA 40 40mm single ambidextrous loading grenade launcher. Produced by Ata Arms and delivered by the end of 2018 to the army. Also In use with MPT-76 and MPT-55.

Barksdale AFB's B-52 teamed up with Turkish Air Force's 193rd "Öncel" Squadron’s F-16 fighting falcons to support U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet maritime operations throughout the Mediterranean Sea, for Bomber Task Force.

135. Ateş Squadron during JTAC exercise. An important point to note is that they use Turkish SF camouflage. The marking device seen in the first photo is the ENGEREK laser system made by ASELSAN. In the second photo, the hand-held DORUK laser system produced by ASELSAN.
