Caglar Kurc, a Turkish defense analyst, said the upgrade program indicates Turkey’s intention to keep the F-16s as its main aerial firepower until the country completes work on its planned indigenous fighter jet.

“In addition to the F-16s, [armed and unarmed] drones could be used to support, particularly, anti-terror missions,” Kurc said.

The new snow camouflage of the Turkish Army Special Forces (ÖKK). Because of the camouflage newly designed and produced, there is no snow camo on the plate carriers and helmet covers. But, I think we will able to see the full camouflage when these covers and plate carriers are started to produced with the new camouflage. The ones who wearing the white covered helmets, are Azerbaijani soldiers. Picture from the "Winter-2021 exercise".

MPT-76-MH is ready to serve. MPT-76 was to heavy for to use, and the soldiers was upset about this. MPT-76-MH is 400 grams lighter than the classic MPT-76. The new weight of the MPT-76-MH is around 3.750kilos. And also, there is a different stock. That's nice because the stock that they were put to the MPT-76 was looking like a stove pipe.

Are you sure about the snow camouflage being a new design? I mean it looks like a less dense multicam alpine pattern but it might be the original one either since these guys are special forces

I'm not sure about the snow camouflage being a new design. Even I forgot that I said it was newly-designed, I thought I had just written it was produced. It's my bad. And you are right, it looks a lot like MC Alpine pattern but, especially these recently times, the camouflages of different units and commands (KKK, DzKK and JGK) have been redesigned locally. If we talk about the design part, with the new camouflage of the ÖKK, I think that maybe they designed this snow camouflage either, with the new one. But, as I mentioned, I don't have the complete information about the design part but, as a civilian, I'm pretty sure that this is the first time I've seen this camouflage pattern in service by ÖKK.

Thanks for the heads up, also don't get me wrong, I wasn't being cocky. Just small pieces of information like this is important for me because I'm making mods for a video game
