Interesting. In the past I only saw this combo in Ukraine, on both sides.

It's not part of the topic but they have been producing the AK-74M and AK-101 under the name of "Khazri" with the Mepro-21 reflex sight under license for around 6-7 years.

Gendarmerie known as the having the pilots with guts and talent. Here is a photo of their first UH-60 performing loop in 1989. Sikorsky wanted to do it with one of the US Army UH-60s to make advertisement that they reject, so they offered the same deal to Turkish Gendarmerie pilots who were in US to to take the delivery of first chooper.

The first actual photo of the Turkish Navy Burak Class ASW Corvette ( ex-Frech D'Estienne d'Orves Class) with update. Originally the Turkish Navy was planning to retire 6 vessels of the Burak Class after the introduction of the Ada Class MilGem corvettes. However in consideration of the outstanding seafearing capabilities of this platform in open waters it's decided to convert them as offshore-patrol vessels with some updates. Including aselsan MAR-D 3D radar with 300+ km search capacity, oto-Melara 76mm compact naval gun with aselsan AKR-D EO & radar target designator instead of French 100mm which is only used by Burak class in Turkish Navy and aselsan Bora remote controlled modular missile launcher wich can be equipped with 4x Roketsan L-UMTAS or 8x Roketsan Cirit missiles for surface targets or 8x FIM-92 Stinger SAM for aerial targets. Interesting that they did not remove the Exocet SSM and ASuW rocket launchers which Burak Class the only platform in Turkish Navy that uses them (the rest of the TN ships are using Harpoon SSM and it's Turkish equivelant Atmaca SSM). I guess it's better to have them when in need.

Same as Turkish, French Navy is also using of it's remaining D'Estienne d'Orves Class Corvettes (or Avisos in French designation) by removing their all remaining weapons except the main gun to use as offshore patrol vessels.
