Well now ..we just bought this car in December 2019;

our 2017 Camry

That car was TOTALED because of a hail storm with golf ball sized hail....

You can't tell in this photo..but there are over 50 huge hail dents in this car.

So our insurance TOTALED that car and our insurance company paid us over the Blue book value!! We are blessed.. and we bought another 2017 Camry;

.....This car had only 3864 (6218km) miles on the odometer when purchased by us...

It's a bank holiday (Public holiday) here today and since my local pub is closed, they offered a "pub in a box" kit as a takeaway.

I just bought into the new Headstamp publishing book Thorneycroft to SA80 - A history of British Bullpups on Kickstarter. It should compliment my French rifles book nicely.

Nope, but I don't see why I should use trees for paper that goes down the drain anyway. No need to chop down a forest for bum-wipes or nose-blowing when you can use recycled paper. Trees are needed to make charcoal for my barbecue!

I bought an Acer Chromebox CXI2-I38GKM;

I really don't need a computer, my wife has one, I don't play games or conduct business. And despite how many thousands of photos I posted they are all saved on imgur or disc my wife has. If I can get online I'm happy.

My new Acer Chromebox CXI2-I38GKM is so much faster & smooth than my old HP. Even though the HP had 8GB of ram..it was slow at times with those programs I never use running in the back ground. This Chromebox is so smooth. And is not venerable to any virus. It was a great purchase.

A toaster. I used to have a Sunbeam toaster. The name was because "it was faster to leave your slice of bread in a sunbeam than to use this POS toaster". Then it died - and I need my toast!

Now I have a Russell Hobbs one in shiny red. And it toasts things fast. Much happy.

Yep, I few weeks ago it was virtually sold out and got rationed by the stores. E.g. the cashiers would only allow one pack per household. I remember standing in front of an empty shelf and one guy told me how he had just seen a family hauling off 14 packs at once. His comment: "How many asses do they have to wipe?"

Man, this Russell Hobbs brand makes some nice machines! I rarely eat toast but I'm tempted to buy one of these things if only for decorative purposes. :cool:

Joe Biden (me) finally got his package which he had « forgotten ».

So, aye. iPhone 11. This is much bigger than my iPhone 8 from two years ago, and I thought I was going to miss my home button. I don’t, only after having browsed with it for an hour. Pretty solid phone from what I can tell so far.
