Food & drink What are you drinking?

Not one I've had before.....I'll keep my eyes open on my next trip over there.

I mean, if I can find it in France I’m sure you can get a hold of it in the UK too.

Not so much mate, I live in the countryside and mainly get "mainstream" UK beers in the supermarkets. I have to order bespoke beers from the internet to slake my cravings. It's probably better in bigger cities.

I’m guessing Brewdog, London Fullers, and the likes which we find easily here too. Yep, I’m also a bit countryside too but our supermarkets spoils us with various breweries. From anywhere in the world, don’t really need to order online and the steep shipping cost.

Brewdog is like syphilis, it's everywhere. I don't like the company so I tend to avoid it.

Moin (Short for "Good" Morning in the north)

Coffee with cream (and then some more until the spray can was empty)

Ja servus! In Bavaria we greet God all the time😊

Holba Šerák 11° in the Roští (Bush, former rock/punk) pub in my native town under the jukebox which is 30 years old with songs since 1979 to 1998, good old days 😀

Recently ordered a haul from a fairly spoiled Dutch web shop, it sure wasn’t cheap but every now and then I just blow off my €uros like that.

The usual and varied treats from over the pond, Prairie Double Vanilla (Oklahoma) and Central Waters (Wisconsin) were truly outstanding, the rest was just great too.

Budvar 33 by Budějovický Budvar, only one Czech national brewery owned by the Czech state located in the city of České Budějovice (for somebody, original Budweiser Bud - written in German language - the German translation commonly used in the USA for something very different and very wrong...)

I'm not qualified to talk on this topic, I had a generic Dr Pepper and a salad for my dinner. Now there was a time.... like my age, when I did drink beer and on rare occasions I shot a Wild Turkey. Today I just don't drink since it was always on a social occasion decades ago, my cats only drink water and milk so that pretty much ended any chance of a beer. 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

Plzeňský Prazdroj 12°
Well I hate the German translation Pilsner Urquell of the original Czech name, under witch the beer is sell around, even in Czechia. Till 1992 there was used only Plzeňský Prazdroj mark in pubs and shops in Czechia, Pilsner Urquell was used only for some export areas. But after the fall of the Iron Curtain marketing idiots thought that they must be global and famous, they renamed the beer with the German translation even fir Czechia, the result is now - you ask some young girls and boys behind bar/tap for Prazdroj and they take a look at you same way like you are UFO man - what? It's a shame on the Plzeňský Prazdroj brewery marketing that many Czechs today don't even know the Czech name of the most famous Czech beer, while the brewery has the same name and don't use a German translation but original Czech name. The biggest paradox is that no Czech will ever say the German name, when he wants to buy this beer or order it in a pub, he says "Plzeň" (or some people like me "Prazdroj"), which is the name of the city where the beer is produced. I think it's the only product in the world whose name is never spoken by customers in the home country. Excelent work, marketing is s*hit.

I’m not sure I’m ready for warm weather yet. We’ve had brilliant sun for the last four days and temps in the 60s to 80s…Fahrenheit.

So I was rather thirsty after driving home from the job through the nearby farm and sagebrush-covered rangeland.

I knew I had a Bitburger Radler chilled in the fridge!

Boy, that hit the spot!

Tucker Rotbier from Nuremberg. A very quaffable, malty red beer. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Lately, the German 16 oz cans have been about US$2.49 each as long as I’m not trying to buy something “big name” straight out of Munich. When local micro-brews are approaching $1.99 for a 12 ounce can, 50 cents more for a full German experience is hard to pass up. Now I’m curious to go looking for some Czech, Polish or Balkan state beers to see what’s price worthy!
