The irony is Mad MAX removed the most effective Committee member .. who is far more clued up than Mad Max ,, and she downsized the committee as well

Mad Max is just interested in PR stunts.

Even though the guy was pretty much beating around the bush, the questions she asked can't be answered by either "yes" or "no". There are nuances, there are things to point out and disambiguate.

Thing is, she/they are not interested in getting answers, they just want to grandstand and appear fierce and ferocious in the eyes of their supporters. "so fierce!", "rawr!", "yass queen slay!" and the such.
