the chinese send a oil resreach ship inside Vietnam EEZ near Vung Tau protecting it with they biggest coast guard ship , Vietnam and china have a water game out there like 2014 lol not yet on that scale but it gona be soon with the Chinese send more ship . few week ago they harras Malaysian oil rig inside Malaysian eez .

like ao_sepia say FN fnc ( both full length and carbin version ) they have all type of rifle in 5,56 caliber from m16(a1/a2),m18(Vietnam copy of xm rifle ) FN 2000 , bren cz , some variant of m4 ( not sure which country , but I doubt it American made m4 variant ) gali ace in 5,56 ,they also have Negev lmg ( only them and marine using Negev lmg that we current know of , they also have they hand on tarvor ( any weapon that we own the shooting team own it too ,to test and see the weapon performance befor they been adapt , gali ace 7,62 are test by them and the army get feed back and try to improve from they feed back befor mass adapt )

They are the shooting athletes that compete abroad . Because most of the shooting contest they attend uses NATO standards so.. yeah.

Vietnam marine also used standar NATO weapons ( tarvor , Negev , isreali DMR that I forget the name ) , the reccon also used 5,56mm m18 ( m18 Vietnam copy of XM with abit of modify and using m4 stock and a silencer ) militia in the south and central Vietnam used m16
