In April, the commanders of the Polish 11th "Lubuska" Armored Cavalry Division and the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade were on a working visit to Fort Hood Killeen in the US state of Texas.

The officers of the Polish "Black Division" and the 10th Brigade visited American soldiers from the 1st Cavalry Division to establish cooperation before the soon-to-be rotation within the presence of the Armored Brigade Combat Group in Żagań and subordinate garrisons in Poland.

In 2018, at the military airport in Latkowo and the Training Center in Toruń, there was a workshop for the recovery of isolated staff pk. FROZEN FURY 18.
The purpose of the exercise is to rip crews of helicopters and subunits of recovery forces in planning and carrying out the mission of recovering isolated personnel. The organizer of the exercise is Poland 56. Air Base. In the exercise participated sub-units of 57. RQS of US AIR FORCE and Polish Special Forces. The exercise uses two W3-PL helicopters and two Mi-24 helicopters from the 56th Air Base. Cooperation of the 56th Air Base of 57th RQS with US AIR FORCE has already 3 years of tradition, while the exercise of pk. "FROZEN FURY" is already the second edition organized by the 56th Air Base. The head of the exercise is Lieutenant Colonel Piotr Gronczyński commander of 2nd Helicopter Squadron at 56th Air Base.
