Soldiers assigned to the Nebraska Army National Guard's 1-367th Aviation Regiment (Security and Support) move the blades of three Nebraska UH-72 Lakota helicopters in together to make more space for other aircraft, Sept. 12, at the Florida National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility No. 1 in Jacksonville, Florida. The Soldiers, approximately 100 strong, are part of an emergency management assistance compact request received by Nebraska from Florida to aid with Hurricane Irma relief operations. Troopers from the 5th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, engage targets with an Abrams Tank during the readiness demonstration, Presidenski Range, Trzebian, Poland, Sep. 25. The demonstration features the capabilities of Abrams tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles and Apache helicopters from the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade. The demonstration displays the ability to control the troop-size element as it moves onto the field and executes its live fire.
