And US is for the US, Russia for the Russians... whats your point? The fact of the matter is Turkey of all Muslim nations in the area is more western oriented compared to the rest. The fact that it protects its own and will push its national interest no matter what rather some religious ideals makes that clear.

As long as we understand, everyone is for their own self interest, unless there is a formalized treaty that they are legally obliged to follow.
