The 5th edition of Indo-Oman Joint Training Exercise AL-NAJAH kick started on 16 September 24 at Rabkoot Training Area, Oman. The 60 member Indian Army contingent reached Oman on 12 September 24. Running until 26 September 24, the Exercise focuses on exchange of combat experience between the Indian Army and Royal Oman Army through various tactical drills pertaining to counter terrorism and peacekeeping operations under the UN Charter.

Troops of Indian Army and Oman train together to further enhance interoperability and synergy between forces of both the Nations in the 5th edition of the Exercise Al Najah 2024, being held at Rabkoot Training Area, Salalah, Oman.
The closing ceremony of the 5th edition of Exercise Al Najah 2024 between India and Oman, was conducted at Rabkoot Training Area, Salalah, Oman on 26 September 2024. Closing ceremony was attended by Shri Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to Oman and Brigadier General Abdulkadhim Bin Imbrahim Al-Ajmi, Oman Army.
