A new way to protect Russian aircraft from homing missiles was proposed by scientists from the All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics. There is no video of this, so we just explain. Scientists propose to tow decoys from metallized balls connected by cable segments behind aircraft. Balls and their diameter are selected in such a way that the decoy could imitate another aircraft, more visible to radars and missile homing systems.

Radar 1RL239 entered service in 1981, the radar is placed on the chassis of the MT-LBu tractor and has a crew of 4 people. In the army, this version of the radar is no longer used much, as it has been replaced by new types of radar. The installation was used in Afghanistan, but in the conditions of rough mountainous terrain it turned out to be ineffective, besides, it was difficult to ensure safety from radio wave radiation, it was not safe to be within a radius of 600 meters from the radar. Detection range of radar firing positions: mortar up to 12 km, cannon up to 9 km, RZSO up to 16 km. The time to bring the radar to the combat position is 4 minutes, the power of the radio wave emitter of the radar is 200 kW.

Video of the use of the Russian machine for setting smoke screens TDA-2M. The principle of operation of the machine is based on the evaporation of a smoke-forming substance in a stream of hot gases, followed by condensation of the resulting vapors in the atmosphere. The TDA-2M machine is placed on the Ural-4320 chassis and can be used by chemical defense troops and for aerosol disinfection of large areas. The consumption of the aerosol-forming substance is 300-800 l/h, the total volume of the tank of the active substance is 3200 l. The time of continuous smoke release with one charge is from 3 to 8 hours, the machine can put an aerosol curtain on the move, at speeds up to 30 km / h. Calculation of the installation 2 people.

Israeli Weapons Sent to Ukraine Could End Up in Iran

According to a report published on Wednesday, a Russian military aircraft secretly transported a British NLAW anti-tank missile, a U.S. Javelin anti-tank missile, and a Stinger anti-aircraft missile to Tehran on August 20. This news will reinforce opposition in Israel to sending weapons to Ukraine for fear they could end up in the hands of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

i'm not an expert in neither military affairs nor extensive web browsing and data mining , but this sounds more like a suggestion (to Russia and Iran) than a real article .

The Ministry of Defense showed the exercises of the Russian chemical defense troops and the use of the RHM-6 chemical reconnaissance vehicle. The RHM-6 vehicle was created on the chassis of the BTR-80 armored vehicle and entered the army in 2013. The complex of onboard equipment of the machine allows detecting signs of a chemical or biological attack, as well as detecting radiation contamination at a distance of up to 6 kilometers. Meteorological conditions are also monitored, all information is transmitted to the command post. The machine can, with the help of a special device, set flags in the infected area. The main instrument for detecting vapors of toxic and other substances is the device PKhRDD-2B. Armament machine guns KPVT caliber 14.5 mm and PKTM caliber 7.62 mm. Crew car 3 people.

Russian racing parachute system PTK-10SK aircraft on the example of the Su-30SM Air Force of the Republic of Belarus. The main supplier of parachutes for Russia, as well as for export to more than 30 countries of the world, is OJSC Solnechnogorsk Mechanical Plant. The PTK-10SK brake landing parachute system produced by the plant is installed on Russian SU-27 and SU-30 aircraft. Parachute landing systems reduce the length after the landing run of the aircraft by 1.5-2 times. The PTK-10SK parachute system has a mass of 23 kilograms and is used at an aircraft speed of no more than 300 km/h. As it turned out, the resource of braking parachutes is not large, about 50 applications. Parachute canopy area. 25 m2. The service life of the parachute is 15 years.
