Civil, that won't ever go well, but civilian so far is great. Out for posh scoff, riding with some friends today, not having to drive 5 hours back to base tomorrow. Not bad at all.
Ah, anyway, as inspired by Mokordo and his London picture from years ago, here’s me in NYC, in September 2004, In front of a giant sign against Bush Jr. This propaganda didn’t work much as he was re-elected two months later:
I can tell I really miss being this thin, but I certainly don’t miss my look and clothes nor that attempt at a neckbeard
I skipped it... my sister went there and apparently the relatives there was very welcoming and showed the around. Funny enough they mentioned that my side of the family was a ghost, talked about in terms of line but completely cut off connections. So my sister was the first to make contact. So maybe next year i will pass by that area.
Oh and god damn, the amount of Esmeraldas in Spain... my neck was about to break from looking at the women.
Also... its weird as I always get called out as a foreigner here in the Philippines, while in Spain where i am a foreigner, people mistake me for one of your own. Over hear the immigration double check my passport, while in the Marid airport immigration asked me for "no your other passport" when i gave them my Philippine Passport. Had to explain im not Spanish. and at the same time.
Seville is worth a visit. It´s a beautiful city, more than Madrid in my opinion.Sevillians are very communicative people. here in the north we are more reserved.
I am not sure what the term "Esmeraldas" means, I suposed that is "beautiful women", but I don´t know if has also more nuances.
I thought Esmeralda could be a reference to te Hunchback of Notre Damme, a Victor Hugo character form his novel (later animated film). Esmeralda was a gypsie loved by Quasimodo.
