As part of the rotation of equipment for the Polish Military Contingent in Latvia, Leopard 2PL tanks replaced the previously used PT-91 Twardy. This increases the unification of the NATO battle group delegated there.

Two Saab 340 AEW early reconnaissance aircraft arrived in Poland this year. The first in March, the second in June. At the same time as the new machines were put into service, training began for the aircraft crews: pilots, navigators, radar system operators and technicians. A total of four Saab 340 AEW aircraft crews were trained. This week, the machines and their crews will start operational duty.

The Polish F-35A AZ-02 c/n 3502, successfully completed its first test flight from Lockheed Martin Facility at NAS Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth in Texas, on Dec. 2, 2024.
The flight started after 13:30 local time and lasted a little over an hour. Providing chase for this milestone mission was another F-35A, AF-427 c/n 5727, sporting the marking of the 187th Fighter Wing, Alabama National Guard.
