On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, the WB Group announced that tests verifying the operation of Unmanned Search and Strike Systems (UAVs) were performed at the Toruń training ground. These are unmanned effectors that are part of the Polish reconnaissance and strike system "Gladius", which will be delivered to the Missile and Artillery Forces (WRiA) in December this year.
"Gladius" is a Polish reconnaissance and strike system equipped with advanced sensors and effectors, national communication and communications solutions and a fire control system, as well as complex data analysis systems supported by artificial intelligence. It is another modern solution introduced to the Polish Armed Forces, which will significantly expand the capabilities of the Missile and Artillery Forces to detect targets and strike at long distances.
