Both of those bases are pretty barebone, not that big, not overly well-equipped with defensive systems at present and without sufficient bufferzones around them. That's all fine and dandy when the outer perimeter is taken up by the SAA and the surrounding countryside is controlled by the Syrian government, but not so much when the jihadist militias you've been fighting for close to a decade are right outside, including Chechens and other rabid dogs.It would be nice to see the russian bases in Syria go booom like this. But that will not happen (from israels side)...
I expect regular mortar and rocket attacks from elements not playing ball with the new government, especially on the airbase.
