These T62 aren't used in direct action, but rather fire support.
When used in direct action, the T62 are mostly used as "turtelized" path-clearing units and FPV magnets.

Ammo from DPRK and Iran were, for the former, mostly for evaluation purposes (same goes for DPRK vehicles) and for the latter, providing a sufficient amount of Shahed drones until homemade production could start and manufacture them in sufficient numbers for deployment.

You know what else does excellent "fire suport"? Oh yeah - a modern tank AND you can also use it for tanky things. T-62's are a sign of desperation. Likewise the almost complete draining of the old Soviet arms depots to the point where all that's left are the rusty hulks where even free labour can't make them cost effective to restore.

If Russia wasn't running out of everything "modern" then every formation would have it's full TOE of equipment, the skies would be under complete Russian air superiority, tactical missile strikes would have destroyed every Ukrainian command bunker, airfield, supply depot and chicken shed.

There is issue about this & make every Turk sensitive about this. It's called Misaki milli ( National Oath ) on land & Mavi vatan ( Blue Homeland ) sea. After WWI Turkey during war of independence give up national borders to gain indepence. That include major cities such as Batumi, Mosul, Aleppo & Thrace.

1.) Eastern Thrace lost to Bulgaria during Balkan war even today still Turkish majority live there. That area givin to Greece as war compensation after WW2.
2.) Dodecanese islands. Also invaded by Italians just before Balkan wars (1912) also givin to Greece as war compensation in 1946. Some islets are 200 m away from Turkish shores.
3) Kars region : Largely regained from Russians by Soviets but yet Turkish nationalist under Kemal had to give up Batumi for arm supply via Lenin. Today this area is called Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Turkey still has land rights here & guarantor state.
4) Aleppo province
5) Mosul
6 ) Deir ez zour

Although they had the right to annex lands here, they did not give way to Turkey after the discovery of oil. Turkey was only able to take Hatay province during the Second World War. After the Stalin threat, Turkey joined NATO to protect itself from the nuclear rain and Syria and Iraq gained freedom.

7) Cyprus solved in 1974. The Greeks also had their own plan for Cyprus: the Enosis plan, which gave the Turks the perfect casus belli opportunity. After EOKA B coup Turkey landed island and secured 33%. After losing island to UK during WW1.

Turkey could not complete these goals during the cold war-second world war. Also cant focussed on this subjects because it was dealing with the PKK. Turkey will somehow make this annexation decision, indirectly or not. It is just waiting for the perfect timing. This is why Turks don't want Iran and Russia here. Keeping blind eye to Georgians cuz they are buffer between Turks & Russians. Turkey resolved Azerbaijan issue & helped Libya for this reasons. Erdogan or not Turkish agenda will continue until this goals fullfilled.
