Intro Hello from a newbie.

Hi all, and thankyou admins for accepting my application. I don't have any military background but am currently putting together a book on the British Army Of The Rhine (BAOR) in the late cold war. I've interviewed/corresponded with 70-odd former BAOR soldiers from Sgt to 4*, and got masses of contemporary documentation from various archives. I'm particularly interesting in sourcing previously unpublished photographs, hence my interest in this forum. I've also found that folks in fora such as this often have insights that aren't always contained in official documentation. All the best, G.

Bombardier- thanks and sorry for the delay in reply. I'd be very interested to see your photos. The 1980s is my particular focus, but there are chapters that stretch backwards and forwards from there. G.
