*not sure what the Georgian military uniform regulations state, but as for the U.S. Army, the Airborne Tab is not an individual award. It is not worn alone, this tab is worn in conjunction with Shoulder Sleeve Insignia (shoulder patch) to denote a unit's status. i.e. 82nd Airborne Division, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 4th Brigade (Airborne) 25th Infantry Division (Light) etc.
Curious, does he wear the full color versions of the tab on his formal uniform?
