No, No, Not this photo above, go to the top of this page, page 57, photo #673 shows Georgian troops in a formation with their rifles and their heads down for a blessing and the three blokes closest to the camera in the foreground with the M203 rifles have no trigger parts in the 40mm UBGL??? OR, am I missing something??
I hope they get some before they deploy!!

You're right. That's budget cuts for you. In the next one, the launcher is gonna be removed entirely, and then the designated Grenadier as a whole : P

On a serious note, I don't think they deployed in that setup. At least I hope they didn't. ^^

According to what I know, these are MKEK T40 40mm underbarrell grenade launchers which were redesigned for Georgian issued M4 rfles..

It's on the left side. Thumb operated trigger.

No, I am not. Just going by Ukrainian experience. Lots of big words of encouragement from NATO, but if push comes to shove, Ukraine is on its own. Suspect the same thing goes for Georgia.

Same ? no. There is a slight chance of NATO intervention if it escalates to a full scale war in Ukraine, because Russia might as well just sweap over the Baltic while it has the momentum and a good chance since there will likely be no response to that either, despite NATO members.

In the case of Georgia
All the NATO personnel and international observers gonna abandon us at a moment's notice lol - the only place USMC gonna hold it's ground is at the US Embassy, until everyone is evacuated.

In 2008, the US posted some 2.000 armed to the teeth Marines just and only to protect the embassy lol
