thats why so many rich people own mansions there just feet from the water (mansions that were miraculously unharmed by the fire) because global warming and sea level rise, huh.

"lets be real..." you are looking for a way to get more votes as well as a way to scare people into giving up their autonomy and sovereignty, in order to gain total control overall aspects of lives, and to enact mandates that only apply from the bottom up....

By blaming this event on climate change, the religion of the stupid, he deflects attention away from real problems, such as poor policies and budgeting. Plus, this is embraced by a leftist media, content to pedal lies for the money it brings in.

the problem with climate change, the real problem, is that it is the cause of everything. that is how insidious it is... our fate is sealed, you cannot escape from it... if it is hot, its because of climate change if it is cool it is because of climate change... if there is a drought, it is climate change if it rains it is, you guessed it, climate change
if we get more than the "average" amount of hurricanes this year, it will undoubtedly be because of climate change... if we get less, well, thats climate change as well. thats why it is so dangerous, it is the cause of everything.

when ever I read a headline about "notable" weather supposedly due to climate change, I like to do a little historical fact checking on the NWS website.... more often than not, what is touted as being hotter or colder or wetter or drier than normal, is usually right with the normal historical averages for that given area...
a weather forecaster on facebook commented on how the ocean off Atlantic beach NC is clearer than it usually is, because it "has been hotter than usual, and less rain.." a quick look at the NWS data finds that we are actually slightly above our average rain for the month (and the year to date as well) and a couple degrees cooler than normal.
but lets not let the truth get in the way of subtly pushing a narrative, especially when its an argument from an authority...
so when we finally get a hurricane this year, and it floods badly, it will CERTAINLY be because of climate change, and NOT because we have paved over and filled in every single natural feature that would normally absorb floodwaters in our region...

The permissiveness of "climate change" is such that it goes beyond weather and climate: racism, social inequalities, covid, sexism, etc...
 
While I do not doubt that there is some human made climate interference, it is waaaaay overblown by media. Basically every rainfall, every sunny day, basically anything is somehow evil and of course only due to climate change.

I must not enjoy the sun, since it's the dire face of drought and of couse due to climate change
Rainfall is not enjoyable too, since flooding of course is climate change related.

Whatever is a media hype is blown way out of proportion. The poster on the previous site had a point with the holy cow. We are running full speed into decline and are officially doing it for LGBTQ, Ukraine, Climate. Convenient excuses for "we don't get it right" ...
