Local farmers are having a record season of grass growth. That won't get reported.
So that's where all the rain went. On the other side of the spectrum, large parts of Germany are suffering from the third year or so of drought. While I'm writing this, there's a dude with a tanker truck watering the plants in the park across the street. I would have expected this as an emergency solution in July or August like in the last two years when there were fire engines literally dumping water onto fully grown trees, but it's May and it's not like those little shrubs over there weren't just put in and would need some extra water anyway.Been raining a lot here in southwest Idaho, with a snow day now on Monday. Over a foot of snow at 6000 feet!

Farmers and ranchers could also earn money for reducing their cattle’s emissions. Climate scientists would have to provide guidance on quantifying, monitoring and verifying methane emission reductions from cattle. Such rules could allow cattle farmers to earn credits from carbon offset programs around the world.
Some 32 million tonne CO2 equivalent. A 50% reduction would gain farmers @$40 per tonne some $600 million.he inventory published last year showed that in 2018, New Zealand's gross emissions were 1 percent lower than 2017. That year, gross emissions were 78.9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent, and comprised of 44 percent carbon dioxide, 43 percent methane, 10 percent nitrous oxide and 2 percent fluorinated gases.
It seems that this comment is right on spot though:
I spent 12 years in Spain and it has serious levels of sunshine. Yet, the government pulled benefits for solar and imposed heavy taxes to kill it off. The reason later became clear - When I worked at Naturgy, there was an order given not to discuss alternative energy stuff with the clients. In Spain, most homes are apartments and everywhere has gas for heating and water. I never once saw an electric shower. When a Spanish friend came to my home in Ireland, they had never before seen such a thing. Exactly as the Spanish government want. They are in bed with the gas companies.

I heard they still need all their water themselves to ship it to Crimea with south Ukraine having become so unsafe recently. ?Buy water from Ruskia - you could use the gas pipeline
