Hi everybody,
i attached 7 images from a NATO Manöver, which brought these american verhicles and the helicpoter to my homevillage.
I got the images recently from an older inhabitant and he dont remember the exact year. He dont have any other photos. ONLY these 7!
I googled and i guess, the unit was the 3rd us-tank division.
I googled again and i think on the following excercies (only german explanation) among is the one, the tanks, trucks, humvees and helicopter took apart in. But i dont know which one excatly.

My hometown is located about 30 km norht of wiesbaden and about 50 km east of the city of koblenz and 15 km southeast of Limburg an der Lahn.
Mabye somebody is here who took apart and remember coming to my village. American soldiers camped for a while, maybe one day or two days in the neighboring wood and local children visit them and gave them coke. In return some soldiers gave the children their gasmasks and other stuff.
Maybe somebody here remember or can tell me to get in contact with veterans seen in the photo. It is no use for me to know a soldier who were a part of the excersice but never came to my town.
I would LOVE to read firsthand experiecne from one of these soldiers and even get more photos, they made themselfs???????
Any idea, a website maybe, where i may got more luck in my search?
