This is a photo of an M109A, 155mm Self Propelled SP Howitzer, at the ready postion. It was called the "Widow Maker" by its Gun Commander Cpl. T.J.Trahan USMC. Located in the An Hoa Fire Base in Vietnam in 1970.
We were on a weeklong campout with our VietNam reenactor group. And I couldn't stand the taste no more ,so some smart *** got me doing personal hygene. (99% of all battle field injuries start with teeth and gums) Thats my statement and I sticking to it.
