Nice, the old MVD photos published by RomanS at Militaryphotos.net. IIRC they are from MVD spetsnaz unit "Vityaz" and were taken in 2007.

Submarine rescue ship Kommuna, commissioned as Volkhov in 1915, has completed a refit in December 2018; all attempts to retire her have failed, as she’s supposedly in exemplary state

Everything is there, but when the sergeant yells that we are lagging behind the standard, there is no time to put them on

Unfortunately, the disregard for personal safety and just common sense is prevalent in the countries that used to comprise USSR. "Little things" are forgotten in the supply chain until something bad happens, and googles, gloves, personal hygiene items had to be procured from every source.

@adicontakt I dont really see the point you are making or why it had to be said, this is a photo thread and you could have phrased things differently. As I have said before our personal politics or feelings about another member state do not belong in the photo threads nor do our personal feelings.

For example you see how @berkut76 made his point and how it was received and answered by @Vladimir T , thats the way it should be here.

We discuss the the photos we see and thats it. If you want to make political points create a thread but be ready for the feedback. :)

Russian armored vehicles head out of Gori August 22, 2008 outside of Gori, Georgia. Russian forces pulled back in earnest from Gori and the main highway in Georgia, allowing Georgian officials to re-enter the city two weeks after hostilities broke out between the two countries

bullshit, do not read them, there was a random explosion at a military academy, 4 wounded.

You have Moscow on the map, not St. Petersburg, and the Ministry of Defense has nothing to do with

and why is bullshit? becouse is a news from an ukraine website? becouse what putin says is allways the true?
"there was a random explosion at a military academy, 4 wounded. " , wtf is that ? on an military academy is ok that something blow up on the windows?
"bullshit, do not read them, " dont"t tell us what to read , this website is a free one

First off @Vladimir T , I read the story and even though for you it's bullshit because maybe it's from a Ukraine twitterfeed, it seemed to be cosher, in other words true, I confirmed it with the youtube video before I posted it here.

Second, "I" don't have Moscow or St Petersburg on the map, it's from the twitterfeed

Third, I never stated and neither does the twitterfeed claim that the Ministry of Defence is involved. It truthfully states a military academy was involved and it was confirmed by the Ministry of Defence.

Fourth, it's not a "random" explosion, there is no such thing as a random explosion at a military academy. Someone caused it, even if it was a careless cadet with a grenade, someone caused it. I will await further news giving an explanation

Fifth, pull your head in or I'll pull it off mil-smile10

I think we are here to comment on military issues and we should not qualify as "garbage" or "invention" any news depending on the source where we have seen, rather we must stick to official sources and avoid annoying comments; what happened in the academy can be an accident or a premeditated act, that's what research will tell you and you can not give way to speculation; serenity and calm gentlemen, we are here to share.

Thank you Gentlemen

@Vladimir T if it is "Bullshit" quantifying your comment may have helped with lets say... evidence. If somebody reports on something they have seen they are not being Russophobic rather they are just posting an article or news item that they have seen. The whole point being we can discuss it sensibly to get to the truth.

If you immediately jump on it as though you or your country are being attacked or disrespected then you can only expect the responses you have received and the latter stands for us all here.

Take some time to think about your responses and phrase your remarks accordingly and in relation to the point being made.

Bombardier OUT! :)

Thank you for your reasoned response @TIGREDELAIRE and I agree with you, I think I also agree with @BravoZulu who expressed his view that there can be no such thing as a " Random Explosion" as you say it is either premeditated or accidental and that is what I am sure we are all interested in, and not simply because its Russia.

@BravoZulu posts many news articles from all around the world, he has no preference for negative news from Russia and has posted similar from other countries.
